I am a follower of Jesus Christ and a child of God - I hope these are the descriptors that shape my life most. I am also a husband, brother, uncle, friend, and ordained pastor in the Evangelical Covenant Church.
I am native to the Twin Cities; I graduated from Spring Lake Park High School, and then went on to Bethel University. After graduating with degrees in Spanish and Spanish secondary education I taught for five years at Totino-Grace High School. While at T-G, I felt the time was right to go to seminary - so my wife, Kari, and I moved out to Pasadena, CA where I attended Fuller Theological Seminary and received a Master of Divinity degree with a concentration in Christian formation and discipleship. To finish my degree, I had an internship at Roseville Covenant Church and was asked to stay on there after it had finished, as Interim Pastor of Children and Family Ministries. From there, I was called to Bloomington Covenant Church to serve as Associate Pastor. And now am serving as Interim Pastor of Bethany Covenant Church, Richfield, MN
