Peace I leave unto you
There will be troubles of all kind
It will calm a fragile soul
Soothe a rattled mind
It’s not like world peace
Tis stronger than storms of life
Stays when other emotions leave
Remains in the presence of strife
“En garde”, peace of God cries out
Addressing your mind and heart
This is where the battle rages
What if? A thought does start
The mind sifts through truth
Lies twist our perceptions
Peace divides the confusion
Helps uncover the deceptions
The heart is seat of emotions
Paralyzed to do what is right
Peace penetrates the chaos
Hope is now in sight
God’s peace is tangible
Beyond the feelings of calm
It’s a deep inner knowing
His presence is the balm
Ask and I will give you
Seek and you will find
Knock, open the door to peace
