No one likes the feeling of being uninvited. Perhaps you have wondered if there is a place around My table for you? Will there be a place card set with your name on it? Will I remember what you like to eat and the topics you like to discuss?

My invitation simply said, “Come. All who are thirsty, come and drink from the water of life.” You had no original rights to come and abide with me.  Once, you were not my child and did not have access to my home. The stench of your sinful ways was repulsive to Me. Your life style choices confirmed in your heart that you were not an acceptable guest in your present state.

In order for you to step foot into my dwelling, you must be pure. My Son, Jesus, paid that price for your cleanliness. His shed blood covered and removed all the disgusting effects that sin had brought upon your life. He shared His clothing of righteousness so that you are properly dressed to come to the table. Because of your humble acceptance of receiving My Son into your heart, I have made room for you at the banquet.

Belonging is a deep emotion that you sometimes feel but do not have the words to express. I love you and want you to dwell with Me. Your heart will find its place of rest, when you experience the atmosphere of love that permeates My home. Come and dwell.
