Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands. Psalm 63:3-4 NIV
King David was a man after My heart, because he knew and understood the language of love. He was free to allow his heart to express the depth and intimacy of an open heart to one another. Open wide your hearts and let Me reveal Mine to you also.
My Son expressed My hearts desire in both word and deed. He called His friends to Himself that He might be with them so that they may know Him. Near His death, He prayed to Me that His followers would know the love that We share with one another and that they too would experience love one for another.
Love finds a way to bring forth a smile, warmth of an embrace, soft tones of words of appreciation, actions of sacrificial giving, exuberant joy of being in one another’s presence, and defending each other’s honor. Love bubbles forth to lavish itself on those whom it has chosen to be the person of affection.
King David recorded his love language actions. With his lips He spoke and sang of his love toward Me. With his hands he recorded songs of love and devotion and lead others with an instrument of praise. He allowed Me to walk with him in his darkness and shouted his joy of Me on the roof tops. Our love for one another was evident by all who knew him.
Love is freely given. I appreciate our time together. It gives Me one more opportunity to let you know I created you and I love you.
