Like a ship without a rudder, so your life can be tossed around with disappointments. Questions about the prosperity of the wicked and others relentlessly bombard your life, attacking your foundations of faith in Me. You ponder silently, “is it worth it?”
Discouragement has settled on your doorstep, waiting to travel with you wherever you may go. It colors your view so that all things appear hopeless. It keeps My joy and contentment snug tightly inside the bags you carry.
Enough! Receive peace and strength in your heart. Let your mind slow down from its fretfulness. All of those outside pressures and thoughts will soon subside, but My word remains with you forever,
Let joy spring forth in your life as I sing over you with songs of deliverance. You don’t have to solve all of the world’s problems. That’s My job and I am still in control of the chaos and the pain that you are experiencing.
As one heart clearly communicates to another, I will strengthen you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. I am ever present for you.
Turn the words of your mouth and the meditations of your heart toward My steadfast lovingkindness. You will find refreshing that is strong enough to keep discouragement and disappointment at bay. As your Father, I am on guard and in step with your life. Receive from the well of life giving waters of salvation.
I will lead and guide you daily, It is My joy to walk in your presence, Fathers love to be with their children. Listen as I whisper My love and affection for you. “Heart, be strengthened.”
