“How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? Selah Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.” Psalm 82:2-4 NIV

My Son, Jesus, shared much with you about My heart for those who are marginalized, poor, abused by power and weak. There is an expectation that you will engage in the affairs of the afflicted. The poor and needy you will have with you always.

When My Son told you “when you have done it unto the least of these, you have done it unto Me”, He was sharing His full identification with the needy and the broken. He came to the earth with no special titles and was born in a stable. He held no political office although He is the Prince of Peace. He was an itinerant with no home to lay His head, yet He is building mansions for His followers. He was betrayed and killed unjustly. He knows injustice!

There is a powerful question that was asked of My Son, “who is my neighbor”? The bigger question is “what does loving your neighbor and engaging in his injustice and affliction look like by you”?

One parable My Son shared reveals how My Sheep cared for the marginalized. They visited the sick, clothed the naked, shared their home and food, and visited prisoners. My children identify, engage and help those who are fatherless, weak, afflicted and destitute. My children’s touch and compassion are the extension of My heart to the needy. Justice and righteousness are the foundation of My throne, My children will be about their Father’s business

I came to you at the crucial point of your own brokenness. I expressed My love to you when you were in the greatest of need. I forgave your sinfulness and cleaned you up. Then I remained, even to this present moment. I am with you as we walk into eternity together.
