Manna Minute – Promises Kept

A Manna Minute will highlight one of the 1000’s of promises made in the Bible for His children. Here is the pattern, which you can follow.

• I will read the verse.
• Make a couple of comments
• Rephrase the verse to personalize it for me 
• By faith receive the promise – which means I receive it as true for me, even if it does not look real at the moment. God’s word is truer than my reality.
• Give God thanks for His provision.

Verse – Now I am about to go the way of all the earth. You know with all your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the LORD your God gave you has failed. Every promise has been fulfilled; not one has failed. Joshua 23:14

• Comment – Joshua has the vantage point of personally living throughout generations of God’s deliverance, miracles and promises kept for the children of Israel from  the bondage of slavery in Egypt, 40 years wandering in the desert, and possessing the promised land.. His evaluation of God’s faithfulness…promises made, promises kept.
• Rephrase – You can have a knowing peace in your heart that God will never fail to keep His promises concerning you
• Faith expression – Today, I give God thanks for His goodness in keeping ALL of His promises He has given to His children and He will be faithful to do it for me.
• Prayer – Father, thank you for loving me and expressing your kindness by keeping all of your promises concerning eternal life, forgiveness, provision, abiding peace, protection, and purpose. Because of Jesus’ love for me, I am a blessed child of God. No good thing will you withhold from my life.Thank You. In Jesus name, Amen.
