Minutes to Memory is a Bible Memorization Tool which I am developing. The idea is to connect a Bible verse with every digital minute in a 12 hour cycle. When you look at your watch, phone or clock and see the time…let it trigger the location of a Bible verse. January 1 we have started with Matthew 6:33.
Example 1 – the clock face reads 3:16. I would say, “hey, it’s 3:16. John 3:16 says, For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16.
Example 2 – Pam and I have used this one for years. The clock face reads 3:33. “That’s Jeremiah 33:3 ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’ Jeremiah 33:3”. The colon can be shifted.
Example 3 – The clock face reads 3:56. “That reminds me of Proverbs 3:5-6. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6. Sometimes we will cover multiple verses.
My goal is to upload a different verse every day on instagram as a reel. That’s 360+ a year. In 2 years 720 minutes will be used, which covers every minute during 12 hour cycle.
Hear is today’s Minute to Memory
This is my instagram post link for today, if you want to follow the daily post. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DS-FWz9gU0g/
I know you may choose other verses that may fit the minute such as Genesis 1:1 and John 1:1. I would also encourage you to get a stack of 3×5 cards and write the time really big on the top. Then write the scripture reference to read through out the day to help you memorize it. Say the verse often through out the day.
Thanks for joining the journey.
Blessings, Love y’all

I love this idea. What verse or verses come to mind for 11:11? Thank you!
I am building the list as I go. Proverbs 11:11 – Through the blessing of the upright a city is exalted, but by the mouth of the wicked it is destroyed. – is good as well as Psalm 111:1 – Praise the LORD. I will extol the LORD with all my heart in the council of the upright and in the assembly.
Thank you! I will try to memorize both. Must admit, really like Psalm 111:1 and “Praise the Lord. I will extol the Lord with all my heart ….”
Very interesting how both verses mention the upright. I suppose that is when we can remind ourselves of 2 Corinthians 5:21 and Romans 3:22, that we are made righteous with God by faith in Jesus Christ?
