Happy Mother’s Day

After God made Adam, He said that it was not good for man to be alone. His answer to that dilemma is probably one of the most understated responses, “I will make him a helper.” Truly, there are not enough words and adjectives to fully capture the unique role of a wife and mother in the importance of the whole human race, but it’s worth adding a few more thoughts of appreciation.

Probably at the core of every Mother’s Day card is communicating to Mom that she is the essence of “LOVE”. All of the sacrifices that moms make, point back to motivation of putting others first. As soon as the baby is conceived, mom has to respond 24 hours a day for the life, growth, and health of the child. Even though the umbilical cord is cut at birth, that intimate attachment of life-giving relationship continues.

Thanks Moms for your enduring love. Peace on your mind, for it rarely ever has time to rest. You are constantly thinking about meals to prepare. “Do I need to stop and by groceries to complete the next meal? What should I make for supper? How can I help our family eat more healthy? Now, that I am cooking and cleaning all the time, I appreciate my own mother.” Meals are only ONE of the responsibilities that you juggle throughout your day. Thanks for feeding us.

In our verse for today, we see the Samuel’s mother, Hannah in a routine of providing clothing for her son. Easter and Mother’s Day were always a wonderful time of exhibiting your children in new bright and colorful spring attire for going to church. Bless you moms for the relentless efforts of dressing, bathing, and grooming your children.

So, how do husbands and children say a substantial “thank you”? How can we communicate to you, Mom, a sufficient response to the warm, soft, melting thought in our heart? Words and actions will never fully capture the loving imprint left on us, that forever shapes who we are. Your love for your child is the foundation of all heroes and world changers which everyone has the opportunity to contribute.

May these words carry far more meaning than their simplicity. May they bypass all of the clutter of life situations and make it to your very heart. From your children, we say “THANK YOU”. HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!

Blessings Love Y’all
