boy singingThe heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.   Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. Psalm 19:1-4 NIV

Can you hear me? All of creation has a voice that joins in a mighty chorus singing “how great is our God”.  Together, all of my natural creation speaks of the beautiful craftsmanship of My ability to order life in a woven fabric of dependency upon itself. It shouts a voice of praise so that others look to Me, the creator.

Indeed all My creation points to Me, but more was needed for you to understand how much I love you. My Son, Jesus, became part of creation as a human – the God/man. He spoke plainly in a language of mankind about My love and purpose. No more guessing was needed to understand My intentions. Yet, there were still those who would not believe that My Son was speaking on Our behalf.

Can you hear Me? Be Still! I created you with physical ears to capture the sounds of the world. I also created an inner voice for you to contemplate this life. My Spirit knows how to speak with groanings so that your inner person understands. My Spirit takes what He hears and makes it known to you. I am speaking, listen.

Can you hear Me? I know that you can, for I made you with that ability. Do not fear, but place your trust in My voice and follow Me.  My voice is clear, gentle, life giving, and personal.

Will you also add your voice in the chorus of giving glory to your creator? Join with the rest of creation as it echoes a holy hallelujah back to Me. There is a solo part designed just for you that no other can sing quite like you. When you are distracted, I miss hearing you. Please join in  the refrain of giving glory!

Whispers from Your Father, God.
