00000-4In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:6 NASB

Fear of the unknown is coupling itself with frustration of the known. Work has stopped, bills have not. It seems so easy to judge others about the right next step to do, yet no one seems to be taking the “sensible way” from your perspective, which leads to more frustration. Murmuring against your parents, employer, pastor, mayor, governor, legislators or president is always wrong, even though Americans feel it is a constitutional right.

When your path is cluttered and confusing, knowing how to take the next little step is important to lead you to places of rest and hope. Sometimes the smallest and simplest principles in the Bible help us to regain our footing.  We can trust God to be faithful to carry out His part of the promise as we act in faith to do our part.

In All Your Ways

This implies the totality of your living experience. You don’t have to concern yourself about what others may be doing, just the areas in your own sphere of influence. Simply take a look at your weekly calendar and see where you have spent your time. All of it. Look at work, family, church, leisure, hobbies, social media, entertainment to get a grasp of your life. This is all of your ways.

Acknowledge Him.

This is a form of the Hebrew root word “yada” meaning “to know”.  It is the same word that God used for Adam and Eve when He instructed them about the tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. It is also the same word used for sexual intimacy between Adam and Eve.

God already knows all about you. The challenge is to let God’s presence, power and influence be preeminent in every arena of your life. We wrongly want to corral God into certain sections of our life in which we do this unconsciously many times. We also try to place limits on His influence, just keeping Him near in case we need a little help. This is not acknowledging Him in all our ways.

Let your Sovereign, All Powerful, All Wise and Knowing, Compassionate Loving Father lead you in every area of your life, at every moment, with your humility to follow His lead. Submit your ways to Him who loves you. Let the influence and honor of your heavenly Father approve and impact every facet of your life.

He Will Make Your Paths Straight

There is still much that is unknown about the future of our country in relationship to the virus and our livelihood. God will help with the next step to take. Let’s pray for His revelation to come forth for our own steps as well as for the leaders who are making decisions for us. Throughout Biblical history, God used both righteous and unrighteous leaders to make decisions to favorably impact His children. God can make a way, in which there seems to be no way. “Aha” moments are so clear after we have them.

Acknowledge God in all your ways…I am praying that God will bless you with many “aha” moments to guide you into straight paths.

Blessings Love y’all
