image_thumb[1]The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God. Psalm 51:17

Come now let us reason together,  though your sins be as scarlet they shall be made white as snow, though the be red like crimson, they shall be made white as wool. I have the ability to wash your sins clean and give a you a new spirit. What doth I require of thee?

LIke a spotlight on a cockroach you run for cover when My Spirit begins to search the deep and hidden things (at least you think they are hidden). You think the action of sitting down on the outside is enough for Me to be satisfied. My word penetrates through every bearer even to the point of dividing you soul and spirit so that every thought is open and laid bear before Me. What then?

My child, bend your will toward Me. Don’t deflect or make any excuses. Don’t try to negotiate into a lesser degree of guilt. Don’t give Me a half hearted confession in which you still feel justified for your action. Don’t blame others for your decision and actions. Stand still in My light and love.

Confess your thoughts and actions. Yield your fear, shame, survival instinct, and rawness of rejection. Offer to me your brokenness of who you are with no barrier between you and Me.

Then receive My love and cleansing. My Son purchased your sin with His own life. Your debt has been paid in full. Let My love wash over your rejection so that you once again feel accepted as beloved.  Let your dependency of leaning upon me give you strength to walk anew. Let My righteousness clothe your nakedness. Let boldness fill your heart so there is no fear of being in My presence.

Open, honest, real peace in relationship is what I offer. When you come broken and contrite, I am here to receive you.
