Do not hold against us the sins of past generations; may your mercy come quickly to meet us,  for we are in desperate need. Help us, God our Savior, for the glory of your name; deliver us and forgive our sins for your name’s sake. Psalm 79:8-9 NIV

Sin slowly depletes the air that you breathe, taking hope and options with it. Society feels its impact as a fog that continues to descend growing thicker and thicker in which the sights of life begin to fade from view. Inwardly, spiritually, and emotionally there are those who are desperately gasping for air, for life, for Me.

When My Son was born He was given the name Yeshua, Jesus, which means rescuer or deliverer, because He will save the people from their sins. A Savior comes during your most dire need when you are without options. You are incapable of saving yourself.

When Peter was sinking in the water, he cried out to My Son to save him. Jesus reached down into the water and pulled him up. My Son continues to reach to those who call for help. Do you feel as if you are sinking? Cry out and I will answer.

Who qualifies to receive the help that I give? You don’t have to be mighty, noble, wise, wealthy, good looking, or talented. Those who may seem broken and messed up call unto Me and I answer. To the worldly values this seems foolish, but My wisdom is not like the world’s ways and values. To them it is foolishness, to My children it is My wisdom.

As My child you are part of my manifold wisdom. I could not be prouder to call you My own. My favor and smile are always following you, because of My Son’s rescue efforts on your behalf.  It may be hard for you to fathom, but I really do like you. My love for you is not misplaced, confused, wasted, or accidentally misdirected. I want to be one with you as My Son and I were one as he walked upon the earth.

It may seem foolish to some, but I am waiting and listening for you to call unto Me, When you do, I whisper to you to arise from your sleep and slumber to walk in the fullness of life. Savior is more than a title for Me, it is part of who I am as your Father.
