You, God, are my God,
    earnestly I seek you;
I thirst for you,
    my whole being longs for you,
in a dry and parched land
    where there is no water. Psalm 63:1 NIV

Seek Me and you will find Me
In the Bible, this I’ve read
Got nowhere else to turn
Too much confusion in my head
 
I’m running through a desert
No signs of life around
Don’t like the path I’m trodding
Still, your faithfulness abounds
 
My thirst for life is changing
 My stuff does no longer satisfy
Thought that's all I wanted
God consume my heart’s cry
 
I’m letting go of this baggage
Touch my eyes to see you clearly
I’m not designed to carry this weight
I’m fashioned to love you dearly
 
You, and you alone are my focus
In the desert, You remain with me
Waters of life are ever flowing
My thirst is quenched in Thee
 
Seek Me and You will find Me
This I know to be true
Nothing in life is more precious
Than the love I share with You
