But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” Matthew 14:30 NIV

Peter could hear the wind, he could see the waves crashing around him, he could feel the coldness of the water, he could sense fear in the darkness of helplessness, and in that moment he called for help from the one who has all authority, My Son, Jesus.

I want you to experience the fullness of salvation that My Son offers you. When you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that He is risen from the dead you shall be saved. This is the beginning of your saving experience.

The Holy Spirit comes inside of your life at that moment and begins the transformation of making all things new for the old has gone. You are a new person, My child. My Spirit will always be with you and guide you. Even through this storm that you are going through right now, He is present. You have the privilege to call on Jesus to help.

Amidst all of the noise and confusion of life, you can still hear Me speaking. As a new person you have spiritual ears that are tuned to hear Me. Quiet yourself and listen. I bring strength to weary,, and power to the faint of heart. My words will cause your faith to grow like a balloon expanding with each new breath. Obedience leads you to paths of joy and righteousness.

This relationship with Me that you started is for real. I keep My promises to complete what I have started in you. Call unto Me and I will show you great and mighty things that you have not known. And I will answer.

I am not asking you to “go and do”, but rather, “come and see”. Let Me walk with you always, leading and guiding you into a way more perfect. I do quite well at leading, I can walk in such a way that helps you “keep in step”.

Along the way, you will be bearing fruit from My Spirit. Whether in the storm or the valley, push fear aside, knowing that I am and always will be with you. Call on My Son’s name, Jesus. There is power and authority in that name. I am listening and speaking to you. Trust in My still small voice.
