Jimbob Prepares for Lent

One of the most hopeful phrases within the Bible, “Even now….Who knows? He may turn and relent and leave behind a blessing”. It is never too late to start to do business with God. Today is your day to start your turning.

 Even now - I know, you started your day right, but blew it in the first hours. Even now, come to the Lord.
 Even now - You have had that conversation with God it seems like a thousand times, yet victory still eludes you. Even now, come to God once again in honesty and brokenness. He cleanses completely every time.
 Even now - When you have cursed God and others, when complaining never leaves your lips for more than just a few moments, Even now, especially now begin that prayer with God for repentance and help.
 Even now - When you have been more consumed with life as it revolves around you, even now stop the merry-go-round and gaze once again upon the beauty of the author and the finisher of your faith.
 Even now - when you feel like a lifetime of failure and rejecting God has disqualified you from anything good that He may have for you, even now come to Him and let his cleansing purify your heart and mind
 Even now - when life has beaten you down and you feel there is no hope for you anymore, even now come unto Jesus all of you that are heavy laden and He will give rest to your souls.

Turn, Repent, Come unto Jesus, Return, Call unto Him, Cry out for Help. Because of Jesus, we have a Father who is leaning toward His children. He is listening, wooing, beckoning for you to seek Him. He promises that those who seek Him, will find Him. May God bless your passionate pursuit for him which begins with the smallest of steps toward His direction.
