May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us– yes, establish the work of our hands. Psalm 90:17 NIV

As the dew falls upon the flowers in the field, so do I desire that My favor would envelop you. As the sunshine brings its warmth to those who are chilled, so may My peace weave its way through your anxious thoughts. As a smile communicates affection, so may you know that I am smiling over you.

You need only to receive. Stop reminding Me of your unworthiness, I have forgiven those sins. Stop trying to convince Me that you don’t deserve My goodness, I lavish it upon the just and the unjust. Stop erecting walls for which you try to hide from Me, no height blocks My view of you. Stop rejecting My favor, for it exists within the very air that you breathe.

There are two sides to your hands. Open your palms and receive. Do not close your fist, for you can only hold so much within them. Keep them open and let me fill them with abundance and take away from them, when there is more I wish for you to have.

The back side of the hand reveals the labour for which you reach. You buy, exchange, grasp, write, drive, plant, lift, push, pull and build. Some raise their hand in violence and protest, while others raise them to surrender.  I created your hand to feel, touch and express love and compassion.

May you prosper in every good thing your hand desires to do. This is My favor in action, on full display. Your heart desires to establish a good home, a loving family, adventures with friends and create something that last. Go and grow. With your hands, build with excellence all that you touch. I hope you heard My heart for you, I’ll whisper it again, just as a reminder. May all that you place your hands upon be established for good.
