I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. Psalm 121:1-2 NIV

Why are you so downcast? Look up, for I am here. Your travel at times appears to be filled with dust, rocks and very little signs of life. You turn to the left and the sun is bearing down upon your eyes. You turn to the right looking for shade and a cool breeze, yet both escape you.

Look Up! Another Whisper

What I have just described is the handiwork of the adversary. His bleak picture reveals his hand of destruction, chaos and hopelessness. When you read, think about, muse, converse with others about the turmoil of the times, the view becomes darker and weightier.

Behold, light shines forth and the darkness can not stop it. Though darkness may try to hide the truth of life and light, it is totally incapable of extinguishing the light. My help will come. Though it appears to be delayed, it arrives exactly when I have purposed it to come.

Look up! Your help has already won the battle.

Look up! Your battle today has already been calculated as victorious.

Look up to the mountains from whence your help will come.

Look up! Receive from the joy of My singing over you.

Look up! Forgiveness has been given and your debt paid in full.

Look up! When others are groveling in discouragement, drink from My well of peace, hope and love.

Even the young men will become weary, but those who wait upon Me (look up!) will renew their strength. May the breath you take and the water you drink bring My life and love to you. Times are hard, but I am greater still. Let’s take one step at a time together. Listen for My whisper as you look up into My eyes of love for you.

Whispers from your Father, God
