And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace,[g] be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. Mark 4:37-39 NKJV.
Wars and rumors of wars, chaos and divisions, weather extremes and family crisis are all outside events which can cause fear and uncertainty. On this Simply Sunday receive Jesus’ words over your heart and mind. “Peace, be still.”
None of the chaos may change that is occurring around you, BUT you can see the calmness and resolve in the face of Jesus who holds the future in His hands. He is at peace and wants you to experience it tangibly for yourself in your spirit. He gives it freely to you. Let His peace calm your worries and fear.
On this Simply Sunday, take a long, slow, deep breath and speak Jesus’ words over your life…”Peace, Be still!”
Blessings Love Y’all
