Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7
When you are weary from worry, keep casting. When you are tired, keep casting. When your brow is downcast, keep casting. When it’s hard to breathe and your chest is heavy, keep casting. When you have nothing to smile about, keep casting. When you are frustrated and angry, cast it all on me.
When you can think of nothing good at all, start casting. When you are tired of hearing your own complaints, start casting. When you have tried everything that you know to do…keep casting.
Why do you let worry lounge in your house and sit own your best stuff? Throw it out. Not in just any direction, for others have been hurt by your callousness. Rather, throw it at Me.
Seriously, I can handle your best and worst shot. I am the only One who can take what you are throwing. I will not throw IT back. I will, however, give you my loving care in return. That is, if you will receive it.
You are very special to me. Start right now to begin a walk of trust with me. I have peace stronger than your storm, A balm of presence, for your pain and hurt. I will stay with you now and through the night.
