Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” John 20:29 NIV
Someone has said they struggle with trust. People have disappointed, lied and manipulated them so much, that fear of trust has made a room to settle down and remain as a part of their lives. It is a bondage that lays simmering underneath the potential for hope that things could change. Even though you cannot physically see or hear Me, I am totally trustworthy.
As a baby at birth, you unconsciously trusted your mother for food and life. Your parents had the privilege of teaching you trust with their repetition of believable promises and actions of goodness. Because of their frailties and weaknesses you were exposed to selfishness, lies and the limitations of people to control their responsibilities. I am dependable.
I know how hard it is to trust in what you cannot see or hear. I have created your physical senses as an example of the greater realities. You can see and hear things in your spirit. My Son, is the eternal Word that brings and speaks life to your deadness. The touch of the nails in His hands and feet were felt over the generations that needed the saving actions for the penalty of sins. You can trust Me to always be with you.
Trust is gained on the path of life as you follow in My footsteps. I know that you may be uncomfortable not knowing the destination, but My path leads you to green pastures of fruitfulness and still waters for deep rest. I will never lead you astray. I will find you when you vere off the path deciding to go your own way. I am always a good leader to follow.
Just thought you would want to hear it again. I really like you and enjoy travelling the adventures of life with you. I am here. You can trust My voice and words as I whisper to you to follow Me.
Whispers from Your Father, God.
