Save me, O God, for the waters have come up to my neck, I sink in the miry depths, where there is no foothold. I have come into the deep waters; the floods engulf me. I am worn out calling for help; my throat is parched. My eyes fail, looking for my God. Psalm 69:1-3 NIV
It is not my intention for you to constantly move to the edge of desperation so that you may experience My salvation. Yet, you find Me in those alone moments. It is true that I allow those events to come into your life. But, together we will overcome them.
I sit with you in the darkness. I listen to your sobs of “why me?” I am holding your fragile heart that feels as if it is about to break under the stress and trauma of “what will happen next”.
Some people are knowingly and unknowingly cruel. Desiring power. they dominate, abuse, and hurl insults, Acting out of fear, they lie, cheat, malign, judge and curse one another. Their arrows leave many wounded and hurt along the way. This is not how I desire for My people to treat one another.
Salvation is more than a one time experience. My provision for you is all encompassing. I am always present, even when you feel alone. I renew your strength when you need to get up and keep moving. I remove the fog of confusion to bring wisdom and clarity for your next steps. I turn mourning into dancing. I am your hope that remains in your darkness, because I am already moving you to a strong foundation.
When the waters rise to your neck, Peace my child. When you are sinking, feel My hand to pull you up. When you are calling out for help, listen for My voice. Even though it may be a whisper, I am speaking to your spirit to ARISE!
Whispers from your Father, God.
