A Friend Loves At All Times

What about when your feelings get hurt? - Even then love
What about when hurtful words were said? - That’s a good time to love
What about when we disagree politically? - It’s an opportunity for love to show off
What about when I have been betrayed? - Especially let love enter in
What about when I get tired of trying? - Love perseveres
What happens when we run out of money or get very sick? - Love endures through adversity
What about when they move away? - Love reaches across the globe
What about when it gets old? -  Love matures in value of greatest honor
What happens when my situation to love is too difficult? - Love is patient
What about when they no longer love me? - Love continues to flow forth
What about when they ask for forgiveness again? - Love keeps no records of wrongs
Can love endure when there has been so much damage? - Love covers a multitude of sins
What if I don’t feel lovable? -  God loves you first so you know what love looks, sounds and feels like.

May God change your “love until” mindset into the “love at all times” mantra.  Love is strengthened in the crucible of adversity. You can continue to love those who have rejected you and left you. It doesn’t mean that you have to “get together” again. Love lets the heart remain open. You keep wanting the best for the other, even when you are pulling out the barbs and stickers.

Broken, angry and hurt makes you a good candidate for God to show His love to you. You can’t “out mad” God. He pursues and loves you – at all times.
