What If?

7 You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.” John 3:3 NIV

Those born of Holy Spirit, have the privilege to follow Him wherever He pleases…what if?

• What if, today, He invited you to act like a King’s kid knowing that all the promises given to you were at your disposal?
  • Which promises come to mind for you to draw from?
  • Describe how you think a King’s kid would be thinking and acting in your shoes
• What if you were to meet someone this day who was divinely appointed for you to share the good news of salvation?
  • How would you approach this person?
  • What level of enthusiasm would you bring to the conversation if you knew they were ready?
• What if Father God was asking you to bear fruits of the Spirit with those closest to you (family and work friends) to let them experience His love and grace?
  • How would this change your speech?
  •  How would you bring joy  and gentleness into the atmosphere? 
  • How does a smile influence the growth of the fruit of the Spirit?
• What if the voice of Jesus had no distractions or filters? His sheep hears His voice.
  • What do you think He would be saying to you? 
  • How is His speech different to you as a friend and not as a servant?
• What if Father God asks to spend time alone with you like catching up with a friend on a phone call?
  • Where would you physically make time to be still and listen and talk back?
  • What type of life stuff would He want to talk about with you?
• What if He gave you eyes to see and ears to hear where Holy Spirit is leading you today?
  • How does willingness and obedience impact your following?
  • How do you discern what He is saying to you?

We experience the wind with sound and feeling, those born of the Spirit have a wonderful journey to expereince in front of them. You don’t have to control everything, just follow His leading for your next step. He is calling, the wind is blowing, what if…
