Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, Jude 1:24 NIV

Had the grands over this past weekend and had a wonderful time. Not their fault, but I failed to stay on my diet as I cooked and ate the things that they liked. Whether it is staying committed to a diet, staying on budget, keeping your anger in check, or breaking free from addiction, there is hope found in Jesus.

The word “able” is the same greek root word “dynamenō” for “power” used in Acts 1:8. Jesus declared that when we receive the Holy Spirit, He will bring us power to be witnesses.

The word “stumbling” means to be sure footed or not stumbling to fall in its most literal since. Figuratively, it means to not to miss the mark or sin. It also carries the idea of not taking up an offense. Anybody struggle with taking up an offense?

This Monday Mantra blessing is immersed in the hope in the power of Jesus. He has strength, power, and the ability to perform that which He desires to come to pass. He has the power to keep us from stumbling.

Keep your eyes on Jesus and not the things in your path that can trip you up. He has the ability to guide your thoughts and events to navigate you through the tricky terrain. Jesus can and does keep you from stumbling.

What happens if we do stumble? He lends a hand to help us up without any condemnation. He is walking with us to the destination of blamelessness in the glory of His presence.

Enjoy your walk on this Monday Mantra blessing of no more stumbling.

Blessing Love y’all
