A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families, he leads out the prisoners with singing; but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land. Psalm 68:5-6 NIV
I see you, even from My holy dwelling. I’ve heard your cries in the night as you sit by the window and stare into the night sky. I am closer than the stars that twinkle above reflecting My glory. I am more than enough for the longing in your heart to be loved.
As your Father, I will guide and protect you, for I am always present and on guard. I will provide wisdom for your stewardship so that your provisions are always enough. I will keep my word so that you can trust in My promises to you. I am faithful. I am a Father to the fatherless.
When you feel lonely and afraid, My family is large enough to find you and accept you. That scoundrel, our enemy, is constantly trying to divide and isolate you. He speaks lies of “others don’t care, I’m meaningless, I don’t fit, nothing I do matters”. Cast your care upon Me, for I do care about you. May the Spirit press His stamp of belonging upon your heart.
I am serious about this “togetherness thing”. I want you to experience fully the oneness of the Son, the Spirit and Myself. After becoming My child, belonging flows as the family of God accepts and loves one another deeply from the heart. You are a part of this family. There will always be “a someone” for you to love and for “someone” to love you deeply in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Our time together is precious to Me. Let’s begin today’s journey with laughter and joy. I have plans for good for you today and not to bring you harm. I’ll whisper to you while you sing.
Whispers from Your Father, God
