The LORD created Jacob and formed Israel. Now, this is what the LORD says: Do not be afraid, because I have reclaimed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. Isaiah 43:1 Good News Translation
One of the joys of participating in other worship events that are not in your normal spheres is to hear a new song for you. Last night I participated in a revival service in Selma, Alabama by South Korean pastor Dr. Paul Kim. He recently bought a Lutheran College in that city for a ministry center of prayer, worship and revival. I loved worshipping with others who are in love with Jesus. The new song for me was He Knows My Name by Tasha Cobbs. I have included the youtube link at the bottom of this post. I encourage you to look at the words and let God love on ya.
Today’s blessings and every moment throughout eternity is that the God who created heaven and earth knows your name. You are not a number. You are not stuck in a lonely place in which you have been forgotten. You are not so damaged by your mistakes that you are marred and unrecognizable. You can’t become too busy that you blend into the crowd. He never becomes too busy that He loses sight of you.
He knows your name. He is so familiar with every detail of your life that He knows the number of hairs on your head and He is not guessing to get to a close amount. He knows. He can speak your name in the middle of the loudest crowd and you know it is God that is speaking. He can whisper into your spirit that you are known by Him. He is so intimate with you that ALL of your tears are kept in a bottle. He knows your name now and He gives you a new name when you get to heaven that only He knows at the present.
He is there when you are ready to give up. Listen and be still. Though you are so weary of trying again and again, He comes beside you and holds your hand. God is NOT impersonal, but Jesus opened wide the path to relationship with the Father. As many as believe in Him, He gives the right to become children of God, and that is what you are. God knows you…He knows your name.
May you be blessed today with the most intimate and personal experience possible… God calling you by name.
Blessings Love y’all
