“The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.””

‭‭Luke‬ ‭1‬:‭28‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Early Happy Mother’s Day! I want to talk with the mothers during this blog.  I’ve shared with Pam on many occasions that being a mother is probably the hardest job on the planet. It is also the most cherished and honored.  I’m privileged to have a wonderful mother and a wife who is a mother to our 6 children and a host of others who call her mom.nn

Notice the greeting to Mary was established before she became pregnant with Jesus. The favor and blessing for moms starts before the baby comes. You are important to God because of your relationship with Him. Because of Jesus you have the SAME highly favored status which Mary was given. Go ahead and speak the word over yourself- “I am blessed and highly favored. This is what you, Heavenly Father, believe is true about me.”

The Angel also said, “ The Lord is with you.” Mary experienced the baby Jesus 24/7 as He grew in her womb. Through the power of the Holy Spirit you have the continual abiding presence of Jesus with you always.  He is present as your Lord, savior, comforter, friend, and so much more. ALL the time, He is with you.

Thank you mothers. You work and are weary without very many “Thank you’s”. You plan meals, purchase the ingredients, cook them, then clean up, and repeat with very little words of appreciation. You have multiple sleepless nights with no one who fully appreciates your weakness and fatigue.

It’s seems but a brief time when your child lays in your arms at rest, content, protected, comforted, and one with your spirit. May you receive the blessing of holding your children’s children in the same fashion.

Be encouraged Mom. Pray for your child once again. God did not ask you to be the perfect parent, He knew perfectly the mom your child needed. He chose YOU!

Mom, you are loved and appreciated. Happy Early Mother’s Day.

Blessings, Love y’all
