God filled in the blanks before you were born.

“You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭139‬:‭16‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I was listening to a podcast interview of John Amanchukwu talking about pro-life being a Biblical worldview. He made the statement that we were a concept and idea in God’s mind before we were born. That got me to thinking.

Before our birth God saw each and every one of us in His mind or heart. There is not one person on the planet that came into being by chance. All our days -long or short- were in God’s concept of us. Notice the root of conception is concept. All life originates from God.

Look around at all of the people that you pass today. Those in cars, those in stores, those in schools, those working in the plants, were all CONCEPTS in God’s mind.

So what was God thinking about you before you were born?

Jeremiah records God saying that He knows the plans for you. Plans for good and not to harm you. Plans for hope and a future. He wants life to go well with you. When it doesn’t seem to be going well…He is present. When you walk through the fire, the valleys, the storms, and the cruelties of life, He promises His presence will never leave you nor forsake you. Never.

Walking in step with God’s plans resonates with His favor. Follow the leading of the Spirit, the voice of Jesus, the character of Father God all throughout your day. It’s not so complicated when you approach Him with childlike faith and trust. Jesus asked them to “Follow Me”. You can trust our good shepherd that He is for us and will guide us.

You see, Life does not begin at conception…it began with a concept of you that our Creator God had BEFORE you were conceived. He saw you then and He sees you now.

No more need to wallow in self pity of loneliness, whining of nobody cares about me, or aligning with insignificance. You are not a mess up, damaged goods, or too far gone. Turn to the one who had you on His mind before your were in your mothers womb.

Back to our verse, David’s next words were being overwhelmed by all of the good thoughts that God is having about him. Too many thoughts to count. That is true of all of God’s children.

Why don’t you take some time to give thanks to God today. Reconnect with the one who loves you more than anyone. Let Him speak to your heart of His love and His forgiveness to bring you close to Himself.

Blessings

Love y’all
