The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace. (Psalm 29:11)

Living with the Prince of Peace

The Bible has much to say about peace with God and from God. People spend gobs of money to find peace in their hearts, minds and body. Jesus said the illusiveness of peace is partially due to blindness, the inability to see the revelation of its reality in front of us. “If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace—but now it is hidden from your eyes.” (Luke 19:42) May God give you Holy Ghost revelation – the cleansing of your eyes to see – of His goodness of peace available to you today.

My prayer for you and I today, is that we would learn to live, breathe, walk, exist , and draw strength from the atmosphere of peace which Jesus’ established here on earth as it is in heaven. By faith, receive from God’s well spring of life into your thoughts of despair and confusion. Peace is yours today, through Jesus. Plaster these and other verses about God’s peace that is available to you. It’s real, and you are exactly the person who Jesus wants to experience the joy and benefit of His peace.

  • Peace is not the absence of conflict, it is plugging into the overriding existence of Jesus’ kingdom of presence and authority.  “I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33, ESV)
  • Peace is not the absence of all emotion, the Prince of Peace wept over the death of his friend Lazarus. Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with all of you. (2 Thessalonians 3:16)
  • Peace and fear are diametrically opposed. Fear draws strength from the unknown outcomes, while peace rests with Jesus’ victorious finished work. So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. (Romans 8:6, NLT)
  • Peace is not the absence of all thought into nothingness, Nirvana, rather it is clarity of focus on Jesus the Prince of Peace – the author and finisher of our faith.  Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. (Colossians 3:15)
  • Jesus removes the wall of hostility, the wall of division, the wall of separation so that we have free access to Him. He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. (Ephesians 2:17)

No matter how troubled the outcome of today may look for you – Jesus has peace that is greater for you to draw strength from. He walks step by step and even sits with you if that is all that you can do. Wherever He is present, He brings the aura of His Prince of Peace with Him. Receive.

Blessings Love y’all
