Relationships – Another Whisper

Never let loving devotion {chesed} or faithfulness leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Proverbs 3:3 Berean Annotated Bible.

My Child, let us talk about relationships, both between us and the ones you have with one another. My relationship with you is built on My covenant. Its foundation is trustworthiness, never will I leave you, never will I forsake you. My words are true, I do not lie and keep what I have committed to you.

My loving devotion toward you is never passive. I pursue you with mercy and forgiveness, always. I don’t turn it on and off while I am waiting for a proper response from you. Rather, it is the first thing you feel from the touch of My hand, from the sound of My voice, and from the warmth of My heart. I never waiver in who I am and how I connect with you.

You have the ability to model your loving devotion toward others after My ways. In your relationships, you will have an additional quality of My commitment that makes it work for you. Forgiveness. It is not separated from loving devotion, rather it’s the bonding that makes love stronger.

Let Me say it again. You must learn that forgiveness is not for special occasions. It is the currency of investments and withdrawals in your relationships. You will both receive and give forgiveness with no balance sheets to keep score. I know how much you have been hurt and betrayed. Cancel their debt. Forgive as I have forgiven you.

I asked you to wear these attributes on your neck for others to know and experience forgiveness and faithfulness. It is how you will be identified by others.

I want you to engrave these attributes on your heart for you to experience My life, peace and joy. It is who you are My child. I have given you a heart that is just like Mine. We connect at the heart level.

May you know today, how much I love you.
